From the book “Final Fantasy VII Ultimania O" by Studio BentStuff, we get a glimpse of one of Tifa alternate costumes. The developers of Final Fantasy VII chose to keep her mini-skirt as a staple of her design, much to the delight of fan boys everywhere.
